La Grande enjoys a beachfront location opposite Kurrawa Beach and is in
close proximity to safe, patrolled beaches. Central Broadbeach and
Cavill Ave in Surfers Paradise are both within easy walking distance. A
bus service passes the front door that will transport guests to all the
popular Gold Coast locations.
Visitors to the Gold Coast from overseas are
most likely to arrive at the international terminal at
Brisbane
Airport. Domestic travellers have a choice of either Brisbane or the Gold Coast airport at
Coolangatta.
The major airline carriers for domestic visitors are
Qantas,
Virgin
Blue and
Jetstar. Flight time is 1 hour from
Sydney to the Gold Coast and approximately 2 hours from
Melbourne.
To drive from the Brisbane airport terminals
down the Pacific
Motorway to Broadbeach takes approximately 1hr 15 mins.
It takes approximately 30 mins to drive from the airport
