La Grande is also ideally located to mix in some recreation with your relaxation. The popular entertainment precinct of Central Broadbeach is just a few minutes walk.

There you will find a vibrant nightlife, with a world class diversity of restaurants, bars and pubs, as well as major shopping centres and tourist attractions. The Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre and Jupiter’s Casino are also within easy reach of La Grande. A bus service that will transport guests to all the popular Gold Coast destinations is close by.

Visitors to the Gold Coast from overseas are most likely to arrive at the international terminal at Brisbane Airport. Domestic travelers have a choice of either Brisbane or the Gold Coast airport at Coolangatta. The major airline carriers for domestic visitors are Qantas, Virgin Blue and Jetstar Flight time is 1 hour from Sydney to the Gold Coast and approximately 2 hours from Melbourne.

To drive from Brisbane airport terminals to Broadbeach via the Pacific Motorway takes approximately 1hr 15 minutes. It takes approximately 30 minutes to drive from Coolangatta Airport. 3) Taxi cabs from Coolangatta airport. Maxi cabs are available for groups.
